Reason #63: Zumba
On Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30, the bubbly and enthusiastic Marlene Jacks leads a group of 25 - 40 students, professors, and college staff in an hour work-out, as we dance our feet off to a melange of international tunes. Salsa, rumba, belly dancing, Bollywood… you name it.
Anyone can join at any time! The most important thing with zumba, though, is that you let go, dance like no one’s watching (because honestly, no one else really is looking at you), don’t be afraid of being silly, and you’ll have a great time.
